Young Adult, Modern Mythology
Who will save her from herself?
Upon her return from Greece with three new friends and a broken heart, Isis’ hunger for human flesh is stronger than ever. She’s a miserable mess after losing David following her betrayal. Her mutation into Creatura is all but over when she receives the surprise of her life, compelling her to seek out David’s family. Only, they’ve broken all ties with her, and she doesn’t know how to reach them.
Turpis, the demonic beings that attacked Isis in Greece, have tracked her whereabouts. Now, in order to fend for her life, Isis must join forces with deities she doesn’t trust.
Is Isis truly the Marker of Hope as she’s believed to be, or will she lose the battle to her starving inner beast and demons, obliterating humankind from existence? Find out in the epic finale of the best-selling CREATURA SERIES.
Marker of Hope is the final book in the Creatura series and Nely did an amazing job. This book was my favorite out of the three; I laughed (a lot and loudly), I cried, I was worried for the characters I love, terrified for how the book would end but mostly I loved it.
Isis has grown a lot in this one, she remembers her past mistakes and tries to do better. She also has to deal with a lot of stuff and for someone who wasn’t as strong as Isis is would have drowned in their emotions if they were in her position. She also had to improve herself vastly both mentally and physical because something is coming for Isis and she has to be the one to face it or there will be dire consequences.
I want to say so much more but I don’t want to spoil it for anyone. The book synopsis is very vague when it comes to the story and I think that was an excellent job. I had no idea what I would be facing in this book and a lot of things came as a complete surprise to me and I would want that for others as well.
Marker of Hope had so much more than that the first two books. There was action, romance, mythology, surprises, love, betrayal, deals, attacks, heartbreak and so much more. I will admit that I wished it ended a little differently although I can see why it ended the way it did. I love the Creatura book series and I am sad to see it go. Nely I have one word for you ….. spinoff.
